Vuillermoz surprisingly wins in Dauphiné, Van Aert loses leader’s jersey | cycling

The French rider won the sprint from a leading group of five, who just stayed ahead of the onrushing peloton. The stage went from Saint-Péray to Brives-Charensac, about 170 kilometers.

Vuillermoz also took over the leader’s jersey from the Belgian Wout van Aert, who had won the first stage.
