Plagiarism in film: many borderline cases, but little real evidence

The line between inspiration and theft can be blurred, as the recent lawsuit against filmmaker Asghar Farhadi proves. The two-time Oscar winner would owe his latest story to the work of a documentary maker, who was not put in the credits. A Hero is certainly not the first success film to be examined in this way.
