Amsterdam – As of July 1, vloggers, YouTubers, TikTokkers and other influencers with more than half a million followers will fall under the supervision of the Media Authority. They are seen as media companies under the new legislation and therefore they must adhere to stricter rules and be transparent, otherwise fines will follow.
