The online program Gossip talk responds to John de Mol’s demand to rectify recent reports about him. Gossip talk maker Dennis Schouten confirms this on Saturday after reporting about this from RTL Boulevard.
“Yes, it is true that we are going to rectify,” says Schouten. “It has to do with three things. The first is that we already know that litigating against a billionaire will take a very long time and will cost a lot of money. The second is that if it comes to summary judgment, we might be putting people at risk. And thirdly, we have another appeal pending and we also just want to make a program,” says Schouten, referring to a lawsuit in which they are involved with singer Famke Louise.
On Friday, De Mol’s lawyer Peter Plasman demanded a rectification of the YouTube program Gossip Talk. It was said that they have “proof” that the De Mol family would have paid 5000 euros to witnesses in the assault case that Shima Kaes brought against her ex Johnny de Mol. According to John de Mol, that is not true.
