The helicopter in which Duncan Laurence was transported accidentally flew to the wrong Liberation Festival on Thursday afternoon. The singer and Ambassador of Freedom was supposed to perform in Rotterdam, but was brought to The Hague.
“Oops, wrong city. I love you The Hague,” Laurence wrote with a video in his Instagram Stories, which shows that he is flying above The Hague. The singer therefore started his show in Rotterdam a little later. Laurence isn’t ready yet. He will also perform at the Liberation Festivals in Zeeland and Limburg on Thursday evening.
Several Liberation Festivals have been packed with visitors. After two sober corona years, the May 5 festivities can take place again this year. It is even so busy in Assen that the organization is calling on people not to come to the festival site at the Baggelhuizerplas for the time being.
