In a joint statement, DJ Pauly D, Mike ‘The Situation’ Sorrentino, Nicole ‘Snooki’ Polizzi and Jenni ‘JWoww’ Farley said: “As the cast that gave an ailing station a chance, we showed our most vulnerable moments on television. . We have given everything in the last thirteen years, have become a family and still open our lives to the rest of the world. So please understand that we do not support a new version that will exploit our show, our hard work and our authenticity.”

The group concludes the statement, which they each shared on their social media, with a call to watch their spin-off Jersey Shore: Family Vacation and the hashtag #WijzijnJerseyShore.

The original cast members of the reality show Jersey Shore are upset about MTV’s plans for a new version. They feel the channel is milking the first series and their efforts.

DJ Pauly D, Mike ‘The Situation’ Sorrentino, Nicole ‘Snooki’ Polizzi and Jenni ‘JWoww’ Farley released a joint statement expressing their criticism of the so-called reboot.

“As a cast that gave a chance to an ailing station, we have brought our most vulnerable moments to television. We have given our all in the last 13 years, have become a family and are still opening our lives to the rest of the world.” is stated in the statement. “So please understand that we don’t support a new version that will exploit our show, our hard work and our authenticity.”

The original cast members shared the message on Instagram at the same time. The four close with the call to their own spin-off Jersey Shore: Family Vacation and the hashtag #WeAreJerseyShore.
