Boston Celtics take lead again in NBA final against Golden State Warriors | NOW

Boston Celtics took the lead in the NBA Finals on the night from Wednesday to Thursday. The third game in the best-of-seven series against the Golden State Warriors was won 116-110.

The series is now 2-1 to the Boston Celtics, who need two more wins for their first NBA title since 2008. The Boston team could become a championship record holder. The Celtics currently share the record of 17 championships with the Los Angeles Lakers.

In the third game, the Celtics took the initiative in their own TD Garden from the first minute. The home team played very strong offensively and was taken by the hand by Jaylen Brown, who was on the lead with 27 points.

As in the previous two games, the Celtics had a mediocre phase in the third quarter, losing a comfortable 12-point lead. Shortly before the end of that quarter, the lead was recaptured and that lead was expanded somewhat in the last quarter.

Just before time, the Warriors had to deal with an extra damper by the failure of Stephen Curry, who wrote 31 points to his name. The star player was sidelined after a collision in great pain, but hinted after the game that he expects to be present again for the next game.

The fourth game between the Boston Celtics and Golden State Warriors will be played at 3 a.m. Friday night.
