Glennis Grace is no longer participating in the Best Singers Live event, the organization announced on Facebook on Monday. Best Singers stands for connection through music and interaction with each other (artist and audience). At the moment we cannot guarantee this with Glennis Grace in the line-up.”
The announcement appears to refer to the incident in which Grace became involved in mid-February. The singer was then arrested after she went to get a story in the supermarket because her son was allegedly attacked. She allegedly assaulted several employees.
“We feel that this edition of Best Singers Live comes too early to fully showcase a performance by Glennis,” the message reads. “Tomorrow we will announce a replacement name.”
Last month, the singer offered her “sincere apologies” via Instagram for the violent incident in which she became involved in a supermarket in Amsterdam at the beginning of February. Grace, in her own words, acted out of maternal instinct and emotion, when she should have counted to ten.
